On Christmas Eve, 1000 Smiles of Goa will flick Online

The 1000 Smiles of Goa Exhibition is completed and we saw a tremendous response for the same.  Here you go with the images…

A smile can convey a thousand words.  A smile can cool down frayed tempers. A smile can win a battle. All this has been proved and Goans Smiled for US, We have captured and the same was Exhibited @ at the Maquinezes Palace, near the Office of the Entertainment Society of Goa Panaji on Goa’s Liberation day 19^th December 2009 at 10AM and shall go on till the end of 20^th December 2009.

Among those who lent their smiles and present for the Gallery were Honorable  Chief Minister Digamber Kamat, Tourism Minister Mr. Mickey Pacheco, Former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition Shri Manohar Parrikar, renowned percussionist Bondo as well as other artistes. There was also voluntary attendance by doctors, engineers, and other professionals. The sole aim of these citizens was to curve their lips in a smile of the camera.

The 1000 Smiles of Goa Exhibition is completed and we saw a tremendous response for the same. All the 1000 Images would go online on Chirstmas Eve.  Here you go with the images…

The organizers of the event who are part of ‘1000 Portraits Project India’ are already planning to capture the smiles of their next destination …. The garden city of Bengaluru!!  With hope that eventually they go national!! Smile India Smile!! Keep smiling!

We associate Goa with Beaches, Churches, Temples, Monuments and heritage sites. This is only a part of Goa, its real essence lies in its people. The 1000 portrait project is an attempt to capture & showcase the 1000 unique smiling people of Goa.

And finally we are ON and ready to capture your smile on 12th December at all the important places in Goa. please find details below.

This project consists of a group of 10 photographers with cameras at 10 different locations in Goa and 1000 portraits at the end of the day. As a part of this project we will ask people from different parts of Goa to smile at our humble attempt to capture the true spirit of Goa. An exhibition would be planned to showcase the same.
